What are your views on Harris BBC School Report day 2013?

Hamaad - Today I felt happy. I enjoyed the work and the filming was great. I thought that the editing was challenging but it was good to learn new skills.

Tyrese - I enjoyed today as it gave me upfront experience of what journalists do on a daily basis. I feel that it was beneficial to all that took part.

Aleina - I think it was fun and a good experience, however it was stressful at times therefore I doubt I would enjoy working in a live newroom every day.

Shane - It was a long and busy day! Its all about working as a team and good planning. We worked extremely hard to find news that was relevent and interesting. I think we managed to pull off a well editied broadcast that met the requirements. I really did enjoy it!

Clinton - Today me and Travis made a news report and filmed everything, but Miss Sales did help us with the editing. Me and Travis enjoyed the day and say we would be happy to do it again.

Travis - Today Clinton and I went around a school called Harris City Academy Crystal palace interviewing people about racism in football. We wanted to know their opinions about racism in football, we recorded their opinions and edited them. I enjoyed todays activity in Media and I would not mind doing it again.

Hamza  - We (my group) learnt a lot about editing, interviewing and journalism as a whole really. It was really fun and exciting, it included things like choosing the correct person to ask and what type of questions you will need to prepare.

Just finished! Well done to everyone who took part today. Its been great learning new skills and gaining the knowledge of what it's actually like in a live news room.
Despite a few technical difficulties and running over our deadline by exactly one hour, we finished everything to a fantastic standard!
Well done everyone!
